Redwing

Postby Guppanui » Thu Oct 04, 2007 8:30 pm

This shot is not edited.  I made use of the windows function that comes included in FS2004 and simply did alot of resizing of windows for this shot.  There are 4 windows open. The view points used are Spot-plane view for the big window, VC view with some clever panning for the side panels, and the tower view for the lower right corner.
The scenery is Stinson Hilltop, and comes with Bill Lyons Stinson/Peitenpol package.
The aircraft is the amazing Davis D-1-W by Steven D. Myers with a replacement prop by Bananabob.  The trees are TreeGen, by Feng Zhu.  They are included with the freeware RealEnvironment Pro package available at avsim.

Its not an edit MR you can pull up individual view windows in the sim.

The shot is as you see it in-sim. Several entries in the past have used this technique and at least once they have been finalists!! :D

There is probably a question of weather this is a "RAW" shot. I think it is perfectly acceptable. You didn't do anything after you pressed the "PrintScreen" key, so it's not an edit. In any case, we aren't the mods.  ;)

Nothing happened after 'e hit the Print/Screen button, so that's not an edit. If it's just windows, then it's all just in game.

This is a really interesting shot, I like it a lot.
