The aircraft is the very well done Cessna L-19 by Massimo Taccoli available here:

The lake straddles the New York/Pennsylvania border and probably has a lot more trees than the sim can give me. Compression killed this one no matter how I tried to save it.

There's a lot of nice shots in this contest - good luck to everyone.

What a shame you didn't turn the water effects on, ruins the shot.

Your message prompted me to double-check my settings - yep, slider for water effects is all the way to the right. I guess some of the video cards out there work better with FSX than others, but getting an occasional good screenshot doesn't yet justify the expense of a new vid card for me though.

I'll also note that the water looked much better before I had to compress the image to meet the 100K size limit.
