great shots and welcome to FSX 8-)

One tip that i was told to me and that i use is when i take screen shots i pause it then bring up my graphics menu and crank up the sliders to max to get the full effect for the shot and not really have to worry about what the frame rate it for the still shot. 8-)

like i said great shots and keep them coming 8-)

Hey krigl

I just went through the FSX FAQ and apparently those old autogen and ground texture hack links were removed

sorry!

Originally when RTM was released someone had the bright idea to make a automatic

funny the conversation about reflections has come up...

Str1ker is working on a add-on which will allow you to tweak that so the shimmers and other 'bad' factors using that hack are minimized

scroll down to post #96

Phil Taylor has 'sort-of' approved this hack. It will give you full reflection without the shader hit and str1ker's tweak program will allow you to trim it in. So you guys who cant run nice reflections (and all of us who do not run MAX) can now enjoy that feature with little or no hit to the system.

all you need do is set to 2x LOW (or high for clouds and other reflections) and with the new tweaks you get the reflections of MAX

I am waiting for str1ker's tweak program befor I work with water color or FEX changes.

not at all.. as long as the orginal shader file is backed up, it can be restored to default. It does not change anything in the way of textures, just the shader calls
