I downloaded this scenery to try it but haven't installed it yet. The auto installer that came with it is in a language other then English. What gives? I'm a little hesitant as I can't read it. Never ran into this before. They usually give you a language choice. Not on this one.  :-/

I installed this grass texture in both FS2004 and FSX. It works just fine and looks great in FS2004, but as of now I can't get it to work in FSX. I've reinstalled it three times now and the grass still looks like the default FSX grass.  Beats me what's wrong. I even looked in other parts of the world where I don't have any addon scenery to see if anything was covering it up. Still looks like FSX default grass.  Any ideas? And I did check the FSX box when installing.

Yes

the best tree and grass is the freeware PicNic variation 3 @ 1024 resolution and the best trees are TreeX V 2.1 (FSX sp1 and sp2) variation HiFi or Quality @ variation 2 (darker) and larches 1 (USA) larches 2 or 3 (higher elevation or europe)

The add-on shown above has too much pattern in the grass. PicNic variation 3 eliminates that pattern and runs perfect with almost all seasonal/world changes

be aware than any add-on which changes the grass like above or PicNic will also change snow
