A small sneak preview Mirage5/Dagger/Kfir

Postby Souichiro » Sat Oct 13, 2007 1:36 pm

Yup, one of my favorite designers and one of our Forum mebers Berserk is in the process of Creating a new package which I think will be very very popular

I asked him If I could have a little sneak preview and I could... so here are some screenies... I'll try to get some better ones over the next few days though :D

Remember all that this is a WIP and maybe someone can give him some constructive critiscism?

I'll tell you though that the models fly like a dream!

We start of with one of my favorite planes

IAI Kfir 7

Image

Most shots are of the one with my favorite paint so far

IAI Dagger

Yup an Argentinian one

Mirage 5 COAM

Same plane.... these are meant to fly low!!

And one final Dagger

I will try to get some better screenies over the next few days! Loving it so far though! Thanks to Berserk!!

Are the effects going to be gauged to work only at appropriate times, or will they be light activated?

I wonder if Eduardo is going to include a working after burn like he did with the Mig-29...These look fine already...I can't wait to see what the final package will be like :o :o

AFAIK from what he Told me the effects will be working automatically. I hope they work as in the Mig-29 package as well.... Huge power boost it gave with the pressing of the afterburner key! Take-off... near stall and the the power boost! Awesome!

So my list of suggestions
[*]J-79... so where's my smoke trail?
[*]Will there be different FDEs for the two engine types (Atar / J-79) as there is a big difference in power between these (J-79 has more power)
[*]This one is a C-7 version, will there be a C-2 (small canards) too?
[*]There is one in the screenshot list with the wrong designation.... Argentine machine is an IAI Nesher (no canards at all)
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

Hi all

Thanks to all for the interest in my planes  ;)

Soui like always the pics are just  :o :o :o :o awesome

The idea with the Mir/kfir is that the xml' gauges controls the effects as in the MiG.

Ivan, if i remember well the colombian engines where updated, and the smoke problem was almost eliminated.

Argentina receive +or- 40 Neshers than they call Dagger, during the Flanklands War they was on the Escuadron II, Grupo 6 de Caza at San Julian, (II Squadron, 6th fighter group at San Julian), after the update (where their Daggers were updated to the Kfir C2 standar) they call their Dagger as Finger.

As you can see in the last pic the Argentinian Dagger dont have canards at all  ;)

I want to make the Kfir C2 as the C10 (the future colombian fighter aircraft  :'()

But i dont know if the time will help. For the moment i just want get some time to finish the vc as the panel.

Best Regards

Berserk

No! Thank you Berserk for giving us these wonderful creations!! If the effects work like on the Mig ( especially the afterburner boost) I'll be a happy flyer :D

Same here! I have yet to see any other developer (Payware or Freeware) implement that into their models... :D

Level out means extend the panel to both sides?????  :-[ :-[ :-[ if so, i try, but the panel deforms and dont looks as the real

Now i'm fighting with the vc, howerver this is my weakspot, but i promise do my best

The engine and smoke effects are done  ;)
