yeah the compression on this pic really kills it. I like the composition of the shot and the colors!

Seems strange to me this one, the composition is good, but i can't really see that much in terms of Autum Colours :-/

Good luck though, i always like an afterburner shot :D

Nope, apart from Orange, I can't see any colours i'm afraid. Maybe an earlier time of day would have helped.

not so much compression as filtering i would have said.

Ok, the thing below is quoted from the October Screenshot Contest Post. Look under the rules section and you'll find this line.

"However, if you crop your image, it will be disqualified!! No cropping, editing or adjusting your shot!!"

are you just looking to start a fight or something?  ITS RESIZED THATS LEGAL...However cropping is not and i did not crop in anyway shape or form.

wooaaahhhh guys... calm down. This isn't something that should get people at each others throats.

If he means it looks edited because of the graininess, then I can see where he may be coming from however it is easily possible to cause that sort of graininess through compression.

If he means it looks cropped, then that does seem a bit odd to think because the shot is 800x600 exactly.


well all mine are 800*600 just use irfanview and go to image resize/resample and click on 800 by 600

and nice shot... for you blindey ;D( just kidding) if you look in to the afterburner in the middle of the effect there is a bunch for trees and their orange or whatever color fall trees are coloured. ::)
