My Uk coast trip

Postby FsNovice » Mon Oct 01, 2007 1:17 pm

As i have a stressful year this year, i thought a side project every weekend would suffice. So i set about circumnavigating the uk coast. Here is my FP for the first stint, before giving the old bird a rest to do the south coast leg
Image

A quick shot of the bird i will be using. I decided on a nice, small amphibious plane, the Lake renegade
Image

Got her running, full tanks and a few reserve tanks in the back. Holding short behind a 737 ready to enter the skies over glasgow
Image

giving her all she can give, rather sharp AOA on takeoff, but it has a tendency to do this with flaps down
Image

Well clear of Glasgow, into the rising sun

More to come as i plough on through the trip.

C+C welcome. Cheers for viewing

Make sure you wear a good pair of aviation headphones ;) I've read that the noise level in the cockpit of that AC is quite high.

Incidentially, what does it sound like?
