Back to California, completing the circle.

From LA to Hawaii, Hawaii to Sydney, Sydney to Tokyo, Tokyo to Anchorage, and finally, Anchorage to San Francisco. It's been a good trip indeed. Now that we've arrived back stateside, I'm going to put longhaul, and my trusty 767-400ER, away for a while and start doing some different things with different aircraft. This, by no means, means the end of my career in longhaul, I'm just being transferred. ;)

Image

Early morning in Anchorage, the baggage is being loaded up, the passengers are boarding my jet, and we are preparing for the (not that) long flight.

Image

Now that is a view of the harbor to die for. Dont you love Alaska. Surprise surprise, we are experiencing *drumroll* *gasps* nice weather! Now there's some genuine Alaskan phenomena for you. ;D

Image

Though I will admit it is rather cold. Looking down, we see fog has overtaken this particular channel. Makes for some picture-perfect scenery, though.

Image

After 3 and a half hours of doing... nothing, rather... we make it into San Francisco, who is experiencing some quite lousy weather when I arrive, including lightning. (I tried, PD, I tried.)

Image

It sure feels good to be back stateside. Now, I will share with you my new plans. The 767-400 is being handed over, and I'm going to be flying... another 767. It will be a 300 model, though, and in a completely different, and much more uncommon, paint job.
Good night, and enjoy.

Jet--signing off

One problem is that nose on the first one is a bit cut off. Other than that everything is great. ;)

That wasn't an accident. I'm focusing on the baggage area... subtly. 8-)

Very nice, love No. 2, those raked wingtips look really good.

Cheers,

Nice compilation, however on picture number 4, the bogie's should hang to the rear. Here they are hanging forward and touch down first. It would make for a very hard landing.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Yes, it looks better with it cut off like that.

I see I did a good job, what with everyone picking different favorites. :o

PS: 250 posts to go before residency. :D :D

And for stubbedtoe: I'm quite sure you know that is an airplane problem that I had nothing to do with, so no harm done. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
