Me ... In freeware?

Postby haroldkip » Thu Sep 06, 2007 3:59 pm

Yes, that is correct! I didn't make a mistake! I'm into freeware for once ;)

I hardly post in the freeware section, as my FS9 is packed with payware so that nearly every shot I make shows payware in one way
or the other. But I recently installed FSX on my machine (see my sig for the specs). It is capable of running FSX, but I need to trim the
sim for balancing quality and performance. As my FSX is still all default and tuned down, I decided to take some screenshots up high
in the stratosphere, where I don't have to consider scenery, traffic and weather ...

Here are two shots of Bruce Fitzgerald's Battlestar Galactica Viper Mk. II. An awesome piece of work with an interesting livery!

Yes this is a great piece of plane.
Bruce is a like Kazunori Ito, but much better, since he makes the efforts of producting at leat basic VCs for a good part of his planes.
This one is really funny to fly. You can take it up to the stratosphere without engine flameout, but controlling the plane up there is really difficult.

Now there's the understatement of the week ;D Controlling it @ 1600-1700 kts is virtually impossible ::)

Cool pics Harold!

Your shots look far better than those in the actual TV-series....., if they'd had FSX that time....,

Keep posting in freeware!

Cheers,
Fabian
