Well, anyway, I decided to head into the  (modded) market district of the Imperial City to do some shopping.






I picked up this archaologist's robe... and a copy of Arms and Armor. Sitting down to read I noticed an ad in there - the Archaologist's Guild was seeking new members... sounded interesting.






Got on my horse to look for work. The guild HQ is in a subsiding castle not far from the Imperial City.






Inside it's just stuffed full of stuff they've dug up and found. They recruited me  as a Tyro - a kind of hired thug - to de-monster a mysterious ancient spire they are investigating....





Heading across the green countryside I was surprised  by an Orc. Horzgrug soon acquired the nickname 'Horzgrug the Headless..."





Found the spire!! And what a curious object it is....
