Many thanks to Kirk Olsen (Viper), David Eckert (Stearman Kadet), Denis da Silva and Cliff Presley (Gmax T-6), Kazunori Ito ( P-61 Black Widow) and, Robert Hawk and Mark "fire Ball" Rooks ("Old Exterminator" P-40) (There's also the wingtip of an A-26 in the shot, it's from SimOuthouse)

Not only an interesting shot, but it's exactly what the judges are asking for, if I'm not mistaken. Brilliant use of static aircraft- that just screams "airshow!"  ;D

Thank's all! Yeah, I had a few moral issues about using the recorder, but it's not REALLY cheating....is it? ;)

Not at all, there have been plty of past entries with it and I belive both April and May's winners used it.

Rottydaddy hit the nail on the head, but I think the title really expresses the tone of the shot.
IMHO this is definitely a finalist.

i dont see why, the judges look through all the shots... the best get picked, and this is a really nice one.

I absolutely love this shot, great composition, and I have a picture on my computer from the cheyenne frontier days airshow that looks almost the exact same, Great stuff
