Just for a change, I thought I would venture off into the more desolate parts of Southern California, away from my usual coastal areas!
So I wheeled my trusty Cessna 150 out of its Hangar at Modesto City-Co-Sham (KMOD), and headed for Mamoth Yoesemite (KMMH), in the direction of Nevada.
What an amazing change of scenery!. From the lush, flat, green Plains of the San Joaquin Valley to the mountainous, wilderness of the Yosemite National Park!
Bright red sandstone greeted me!
