Using the golden wings scenery.
Err. This is your captain speaking. There is absolutely no cause for alarm.

The wings are not on fire.

First shot? I like it very much, however the background could use some more autogen buildings and such. ;)

True, and the fog doesn't really help an urban landscape much, unless the occurance is well known and symbolic, like at the Golden Gate bridge. I will say this, I'd LOVE to see an NYC shot where the buildings all rise out of the fog, now THAT is symbolism there.

Ane one more thing, I thought that airships in New York docked at the Empire State Building? Oh, well, I'll pass it off as an approach course to the building, but the shot would have has much more "oomph" if the building in the foreground was the Empire State building. I was born in New York and go to the City every year, and I am going to go again this fall, and looking through the fog, the city didn't seem much like the height conscious metropolis I've known for years.

But hey, I can't help my attention to detail, and all those things about the city are very minor criticisms indeed. The most important thing I noticed is NO JAGGIES!!! Woohoo!

Excellent first attempt, mate, and furthermore...

Hi mate! Welcome to the V or the Madhouse as some prove it to be ;D

This is a very nice effort for a first timer! I really like the classic feel of this one. And indeed there are no disturbing jaggies or blurries. But it is also true that a little more autogen would make this shot more interesting. Maybe a little more panning to the left would've worked out better to show Manhattan? Or raising the fog layer a couple of feet to cover the spare autogen.

Nonetheless a sweet shot and a very good first timer! Looks promissing ... we want more!

I was looking for the woolworth tower, but it seems that GW doesn't include it. I believe this one is chrysler building. Autogen is maxed out, maybe you don't see it because this shot has a small FOV

Actually, I tried to do a shot with the Empire State Building, however, in relation to the zep it was just to massive.

No they didn't dock to the empire state building.  It was a proposal to do so but when you think about it, that's VERY unsafe

They tried it a couple of times, but the wind up there was such as it was deemed too dangerous to do.
