The idea is  for raw screenshots ........ none of the FS titles have a frame as an option.

yet Fly2e's sceenshots ahve borders added and do not get moved to the edited section or anything. its only a border. and also when shots are put up for the vote borders are added, so in your ruleing we are voteing on edited screenshots and not what people entered.

Thanks john, also i have put shots in with frames on and have not had them disqualified. I took hours setting up that entry and you have removed it without a second thought. All you had to do was ask me to remove the frame and i would, I think you're being totally unreasonable.

Dave's screenshots have boarders, as do most of mine and in the normal forums it's not really a big issue. However the screenshot contest is for raw unedited work and that is clearly stated in the rules.

Dave sets up the contest ...... Dave wrote the rules ...... Dave adds the boarders for the vote thats Dave's perogative.

If you don't like the rules and the setup of the contest then don't enter, simple as that.

Look, all i did was add a tiny black strip around my image. You only had to tell me to remove it and I would. You're being way too harsh. That shot took hours to do, apreciate a bit of effort ffs.

Yeah, but can't you just be reasonable? You, who can afford a decent system, don't understand the effort and time that actually goes into producing a semi-decent entry! I have a built in video card for god sake, an ATI Radeon 200! I have 256mb of ram! None of this compares to the systems most have so i have to try even harder to produce a creative and original entry! I understand you have to enforce rules but this is going too far.

I appreciate all the effort you put into the shot ........ and the limitations of your system ...... my system wasn't much better than yours when I first started.

Having said that  plenty of other people put as much time and effort into their shots, good or bad system.

Having taken so much time to set your shot up I would have thought that making sure it complied with the rules would be the most important point.

As I said before ......... better luck next month.

Its not luck thats the factor though, its you being a hard-ass. And no, I won't be entering again. I'll leave it at that.

No it's me applying the rules fair and square to everyone....... just as you attempted to do to Beanoboy, you would be shouting the forums down had I allowed his shot as an entry, likewise if he had registered too late ..... or broken any of the other rules for the competition.

Moral of the story ...... People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
