Well no more screenshots, just cant seem to make any ppl like  :-X

You're giving up that quickly?  After what, one post?  Not everyone is going to like your screenshots no matter how good or bad they are.  If YOU want to take them then take them.  If YOU want to post them, then post them.  Don't just do it to impress everyone, do it because it's something YOU want to do.

what happened to the nice friendly atmosphere :o
there are nice ways of telling people things that are not correct. >:( >:(

Considering some comments Ive received, I often wonder the same thing. ::)

Alex, your shots are improving dramatically IMHO. Youre getting there, keep practicing; And as said above, turn your lights on when you do night shots, and get rid of the "Parking brakes" "Brakes" notifications at the bottom Prior to taking the shot! ;)

Oh and sorry fpr begging :-[ i just would really like to get better at this
-Alex

Getting better mean learning. In learning there will be bad times. I don' tknow how long before i knew how to turn on something as simple as AA. Getting better mean you should post more mistakes as mistakes will reveal the ways we should help you to get better. Giving up means you are not better then when you started. ;)

Think about it.

By the looks of your shots you don't have 3d clouds set to 100% Do that, also work with either custom weather or real world weather. It looks better! Tweak your video card set your AA & AF higher then in fs9 settings, display, hardware, turn off the AA. Before making a shot turn up your screen resolution and turn all your fs9 settings to high.

Second get a good image compression tool to tweak your nice shots before posting.

Finally try some more dramatic angles to bring interest into your shots. Im looking forward to waht you can pull off.

Oh come on, I'm 13 and even I can contain myself to not yelling in fury because a thread has only a few views, yet no one feels like commenting.

there are nice ways of telling people things that are not correct.

Considering some comments Ive received, I often wonder the same thing.

Hopefully that does not include me Dave & Jack. I hope and think that some of my and others feedback on your shots helped you improve a lot :-/ ::) ;D 8-)

No offense taken but I know what you mean ;)

I comment on nearly all shots and apart from commenting on the nice features I also try to look for things that can be improved. Even 'The Masters' (you know who I mean) aren't perfect and there are things to improve. You can always improve else you would be perfect and we all know: 'Nobody ...'

Well no more screenshots, just cant seem to make any ppl like

Tastes differ and not everybody likes what you think is awesome. I have posted some shots that I thought were stunning but only got maybe two or three comments on them which we're probably along the lines of 'nice shots'. It is nice that other members like my shots but I don't think that 'nice shot' helps me improve. Therefore I always try to provide feedback in a mature (hey, I'm 34) and a professional way. But feedback doesn't always have to be positive and that can be hard on an artist (as I consider screenshooting an art on some form). Constructive feedback is far to often interpreted as negative criticism ...

When taking screenshots give it all you can. Make lots of screenshots, try different weather themes, lighting, times of day, cluodsscapes etc. Select the best ones you can find and post them. But only post the ones that you think are the best. Then expect criticism and if you can't take that then don't post them ...

If no one replies to your shots you will probably have to do better next time (which actually means nobody likes them)

You can obviously ask for C&C but never beg for it ... you will only get the above.

;D ;D

I wasnt referring to you or Dave, Harold. I always appreciate your criticism because you present it in a mature/constructive/helpful way. I Love constructive feedback for the exact reasons you just illustrated.

I like hearing what ppl like/dislike about my shots, but what really irritates me is when I get one of these>> ::) followed (or preceeded) by a wise*** remark, and nothing constructive. 8-)
