I find SimV will reject anything over 97.2KB

Do you use compressed disks? Your file size might show op different than it really is ...

Thanks Hagar! Im trying photoplus6 first.. :)

They all have their advantages/disadvantages so I suggest you try them all. Decide which one suits you best & stick with it. Like everything else it will take a while to learn all the angles.

In PhotoPlus6 resize the image from Image/Image Size. To save out in JPEG format click File/Export Optimizer. Then select JPG in the box & adjust the Quality slider accordingly.

Well unless you're gonna use it for something that requires a very large screenshot with no compression at all, i think PNG is better than BMP cos the quality loss in extremely minimum, not noticeable at all, since you're gonna resize and save to jpg.

And when i said 100. ... i was speaking bout KB not bytes :P if it were bytes id have written 100, ...
