Airborne... CCCP style

Screenshots from the maiden voyage of my new Tupolev TU-114

Russians sure do love our air. ::)

But I must say, this is one fututistic plane... that is... for the 1960s.

Counter-rotating props... beautiful....

Nice view. Kinda bland, though.

Welcome to Russia. Above-par aircraft with sub-par engines with above-par sounds and difficult-par to read sub-par panels. Did the showcase make par? (I really need better, more FPS frindly clouds at this point, so please ignore the blandness of the sky. Better to stay under the weather then 15000 feet over it for screenshots, too.)
These are nowhere near my best efforts, I'm just excited to be flying a Russian plane, though this one was quite easy to learn. Though mark my words, this plane will be done better justice once I have it back on the ground.

Is that the bomb sight for secret russian bombings with airliners program? xD

I enjoyed the shots, the paint is quite a nice work, like how the trails of the exhaust fumes are painted on to the pylons...

Better get under our desks and get our pre-90s laptops out, then. :D

No, that's just the navigator's window.

I shall have some shots of the TU-124 soon and if anyone else would like to enter some screenies of Russian aircraft that would be  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
