Trans Pacific power

Postby ThomasKaira » Tue Aug 07, 2007 12:01 am

A couple quick shots of one of my A340s cruising over the world's largest ocean. Only 10 hours to go!

My shots are all about the planes, and taking a nice shot over a gigantic ocean 35000 feet in the air is a challenge to get right, so my solution: capture as little scenery as possible. Nice day over the ocean, the sun is rising, and here we are. :)

New shot uploaded (I don't like creating seperate threads for the same plane and idea if it can be avoided.)

Shot 1 makes me think of how precarious the pilot's position is....there's only about 2 metres of Aeroplane between him and a 35,000 foot drop into oblivion and certain death.

It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the end  ;D
