Back in My favourite ship

Postby coreservers » Fri Aug 03, 2007 3:08 pm

I've decided to explore Canada with the Nimrod and Evetually take some Rockies flights with the bronco
Tonight a straight forward flight from Ottowa to Quebec. REal world weather. Very cloudy\misty but dry. Some classy cloud formations though.

The nimrod is a nice flying plane but i think it looks like one of those ugly fish that live at the bottom of the ocean

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
These planes bring back childhood memories, being a fifer I used to go to leuchars every year for the air display. the Nimrod was always there. this is back when they had Shackelton's, now if someone would design one of them.....
Also the good old days at Leuchars with Phantoms. The nimrod did a fly past with two phantoms.

It's payware, but worth a look.

Cheers,

I'm a fifer Boca, but I live way up in the west highlands near eilean donan castle. great for watching Tornadoes below the roof height of the house!! We also get hercules, and the Eurofighter. The really annoying ones are the Yanks. they don;t seem to have noise regulations. you can hear them for 2 or 3 minutes after passing!! See my website location in the sig, you'll see where we are
