PC #2: first tentative screenies

Postby beaky » Thu Jul 19, 2007 8:07 pm

At last, I can run FS9 with everything maxed, and still get at least 40 fps anywhere... so far. We'll see what happens when I load up the SRTM mesh and the payware... ::)

Now try Aerosoft Manhattan ;D

But congratulations on you new machine Sean! Those specs are indeed impressive and will not be reality for me this year.
My trusty 3 year + old Dell is still in excellent condition ... but I wonder what happens to my sim once I have a machine like yours.

BTW: which D-18 is that? Never seen it before ...

I'd still say a good 20- 25 FPS.

When I got my new PC, I had FS9 locked at 20 FPS and it never dropped.

That is the freeware SimTech 18... very nice, and a bit frame-hungry.
