1st Europe now the world - New Zealand

Postby coreservers » Tue Jul 17, 2007 9:01 am

I decided today to extend the european tour a little :-/
So Took the 06:59 commuter service from Christchurch intl to Wellington intl.
As you can see I used an ANZ ATR72-500.
The weather in Christchurch was appalling. Could base at 100ft, 10 knot tail wind. but got away on time.

Once up through the low lying fog, the skys were beautiful.

The cloud really began to thin once out over the sea, near the north end of the south island you can see the cliffs here

Finally a little bit of sun 15 miles out, lined up travelling behind an ANZ Dash8 400 2nd in line for Wellington.
The cloud broke and the sea looked fantastic.
