F-22 Away!?!?

I disagree completely. Both the Raptor and the Typhoon are Gorgeous!! It's the Tornado you want to get rid of... it looks crude

Well how else do you get decent frames in FSX?

I max everything out except traffic and get 15-50FPS pretty much everywhere.  ;D

Sorry!! O.k, the Tornado isn't bad, but in my opinion the Typhoon and Raptor (and F-35, come to think of it) are better still!!

That, and it's easily the most capable fighter in the world today. EASILY. Redflag the 'score' was 244-2. A single F-22 somehow managed to dog fight and kill three F-16s.

I think that the F22 is ok... not the best.
Tornado is a beauty!  8-)
Typhoon is pretty nice aswell.....

There arent all that many aircraft i find ugly...

Yeah but in pure performance and capability for a intercepter, it is the best.

I know, but the model used is a YF-22. For me, what makes the YF-22 ugly, and the F-22 not ugly, is the position of the cockpit.

Believe it or not, the F-22 has some weaknesses - its agility is believed to be poor in comparison to the typhoon, which can hold 9g's almost indefinately - the pilot's the limitation on that front.

well then it really doesnt matter if the aircraft itself can pull 2000 Gs, the human factor is the limitation and while it is the only thing that keeps these in the air and makes sure that they are flying and protecting us the human factor is still heavily limiting that capabilities of the aircraft.... nothing we can do about that now though

Therefore those extra gs that the typhoon can pull are a bit "yehh well....." as they cannot be used, yet its still good to be able to say that the (part) british aircraft is technically better than the american  :)
