When I was in the 4th grade I remember very vividly seeing an American 747 taking off almost daily when we reached a particular pick-up point along the bus route on my way to school in Grand Prairie, TX.

Areyou using the POSKY 747-100?  If you are do you notice an extra little hump behind the top deck, where the texture doesn't cover anything?  Just curious mine does.
GREAT shot by the way ;)

Oh wow, I did not know that.

And thunderbird, ya, I'm using the POSKY 747-100, but mine doesn't have what you were talking about, or at least I didn't notice it.

Oh, haha, okay  :) Well, I think that texture-missing spot is kind of ugly on the add-on plane, so if you want the one that I have, here you go:

They are still flying today...for NASA. They use two ex-AA 747-123's to carry the Space Shuttle around.

Oh yes...their flying 'observatories'. You would think that ONE (C-141 Starlifter) observatory type would be enough.
