Tomcat lightning pics, and a question

I love this set of my fav navy fighter...but what is that thing with the 4 red sections at the top and how do i get rid of it?

I dont know how to get rid of the red thing but nice shots.  I would have done some shots with the wings swept and afterbuner.

They normally put little 'reminders' on demo versions of payware products - I, for example, have a typhoon that has a red box sitting off its port nose every time I'm not at full throttle. This may be the problem you're having, as well.

No no, if it was a demo of payware it would be in the Payware section. ;) That is just a gauge that will sit there til you delete it. :)

i didn't get any good shots with the ABs...but they will be coming...  :)

Ok, so how do I delete that guage?  Anyone know?  :(

i think this little thing helps you to land on a carrier like the meatballs. do you read the help of this plane?

no, its not the meatball, cause the third button from the right is the button to push to extend and retract the tail hook...can't remember off top of my head what the others do, but they also bring out other gauges (one of them IIRC is the meatball gauge.).

I have read the directions, but I may have overlooked it...

I believe that is part of the IFOLS (I think thats what it's called... The real name of the "meatball" system). It's not just one system that it uses, it's a couple.

If you plan on doing carrier ops correctly, I wouldn't attempt to delete it.
