Meeting Krigl For Pizza!

As you may know, Krigl's flying a Cairo - London tour at the moment over in Payware, and I decided to meet him (as mentioned here) along the way (as TSC did in HaroldKip's Coast Tour). We decided to meet in Venice for some pizza...but he's paying

I fired up the old Howard 500 (she was a bit dusty) and took off early from EGTE (my local airport), heading for LIPZ. There I would meet him in the city at a small pizzeria called "El SimV"


Firing up...been a long time since I flew a Howard 500, last time was in my round the world tour (upon which I crashed in India and didn't pick it up from there )

Takeoff at about 6:05AM...typically British weather again!

Over Southern France...weather was wonderful, just a few clouds off to my 9 o' clock.

Over Venice...I think I can see the pizzeria!


On final to LIPZ - I hope my hotel room is ready!


Home and dry, now off to the hotel to wait for news of Krigl's arrival. 8-)

Beautiful paint job and sky, I'm on my way....salivating at the thought of that pizza.  :D

I should be arriving tomorrow night - I expect there's enough in Venice to keep you busy for a day or so, right?!

Dowloaded it. I was concerned that this might not work in FSX. It set up an FS9 folder, but I moved all the files to a folder I created in Simobjects of FSX Flight Simulator. I don't have foot pedals yet, and tried Shift + G to unlock the tail wheel. I have to start from the active runway.

Took a flight from Toyoko to Kadena. Safe landing, although I cut back on the engines a little too soon  :D

I might end up with this aircraft as my plane of choice to fly!!
