FSX screenshot trials...

Postby Alphajet_Enthusiast » Sat May 12, 2007 6:47 am

I have had this simulator for quite a while now but FS9 is still my preferred option.
Anyways, I took an Airbus out for a spin around Paris today and discovered, or
rather, remembered, that there are a host of new view modes available.
Loads of fun to play around with.

Takeoff from Charles De Gaule. Fly by view mode.

Just spot view.

Love the sun.

Went completely nuts on the bloom here.

This is what it feels like to be an airbus wing slat.

Enjoy these shots!  :)

Those photos shots look really sharp and nice, pal!

...Fly by view mode.

I always suspected that Airbus would engineer something besides that boring "fly by wire" stuff...

nice shots, what amazing! The bloom was awesome! How did you that with 7800GT and 1 Gb RAM, my FS9 it sucks, every terrain and building its very horrible, i have to tweak! ;)
Even that, keeping shoting! :)

This is FSX...  ;)
However, if you want an instant improvement in graphics,
go to the Nvidia control panel, turn on anti-aliasing to 8XS
and Anistropic flitering to 16X, turn up the screen resolution
to whatever your computer can handle and play around with
the display settings as you see fit. In FS9 you should be able
to max it all out, I can, but in FSX you're going to have
to compromise graphics vs performance. Also,
for FS9 there are plenty of texture and water packs which
completely transform the sim. I have many textures
installed, from improved runway and grass textures,
water textures and effects, seasonal ground textures
and plenty more. There are so many available
everywhere.
Hope the information helps!  :)
