Doesn't look like they were improved significantly.

And they're only for the default paints jobs.

Hi.
Thanks to Daube, I downloaded the pack but it seems the modifications are far too subtle for my eyes since I don't see any change at all.
Could it be because you need a high-end graphic card (which I don't have) to see the difference ?

Yes, same experience here, I could not really notice the difference...
I have transfered the files contained in the pack and overwritted the original files... maybe not all of the repaints are changed ?

EDIT: here is what I get after applying this texture pack:

It's not looking as sharp as in the shots from Waspiflab. My graphics in FSX are almost maxed out, only self shadows and light reflections are switched OFF.

Just adding my two cents to what I said

Here are two shots I took. One before putting the pack (stock textures then) and the other after.
(Don't pay attention to the change in "lightning" beetween the shots. Slightly different meteo ;))
Before

After

Unfortunately, I didn't make shots of any other planes...

EDIT : Oops, I didn't see the rules about posting images. I'll resize them and put them back later.....
EDIT2 : Putting back the links only.

Very nice.  What is the exact definition of photoreal?

So... nobody has an idea why these photoreal textures look the same than the stock ones on my installation ?

Maybe the modification concerns only the pixel shaders part of the textures, and you can only feel the difference with a recent video card that would take advantage of those new textures, that's the only explanation I can see so far...
