#1 is nice, with the moon in the background
#2 is too much plane, too little background for me (and where are those rivers?), it shows just a plane.
#3 has an OK angle, but again, no background, no story.

Keep at it though!

No don't worry, it's not about telling a story or trying to invent a context ;)
It's just about setting an adequate angle of view with some nice scenery around in order to give a sense of what this copter is doing, for example.

In your shot, we get a very basic angle in which there's nothing to see... somebody would just wonder what has to be noticed in that shot, like "am I missing something, I cannot see ?". When you look at a shot, the angle of view and the surrounding backgroud must give a maximum of informations on the current situation.

For example, you could have taken the same situation, a copter on the ground, but from a different place:
