If you've seen everything billions of times already and you know you'll see it a billion times more, you start to hunger to see something that's off the line.

Yet the hope remains that the click on the next screenshot thread will get you a "Woah!" moment.
None had lately...

What good is a screenshot of an aircraft when you can barely see it or the critical segments (mainly the nose) is completely missing, you wouldn't think an aviation photo is good with the nose missing would you?


It depends. Not mostly, yet sometimes it adds a "special something" to some photos.

A good screenshot isn't all that dissimilar to a photo, lighting, composition, background etc are factors in taking both.


A photo is *much* more different to a screenshot, alone in terms of detail.

I must just say that you musn't get desponded by the negative remarks here. We all have to make a start somewhere.

Appreciated, but I've been shooting screenshots way too long to get disappointed over an experiment not hitting the crowd's taste. ;) :D
