It is, but to be honest, I don't like the placement of the aircraft.  It blocks too much of the lake.  Maybe that's just my opinion, .

First off, I grabbed this shot from another post of mine which was not anything about lakes!  ::)
So blocking the lake in this shot is exactly what I was doing!
And Jake, I understand your comment but please don't patronize me about what I should do on how I should set up my screenshots! I don't need it thank you as I have been taking professional screenshots for a very long time!

but I feel that if you are trying to show the scenery you should move the camera so that the plane is out of the way and allows viewers to shift their focus away from the plane

Oh really? I wonder how I have gotten so far without this knowledge?
I wish I knew this when I was taking shots for my ""Alaska Exposed" series.  :-/

Jeez, give some people a few "hats" to wear around here and they think they know it all!  ::)

Sorry dave, I didn't mean to be condacending.  I was just giving my view, I'm not saying that is the way it has to be done.  You are a much better screenshot shooter than me, and it will always be that way, but not ALL of your screenshots are the best of the best, and so one criticism really shouldn't be taken so hard.  I wasn't even really criticizing the shot, just saying that in the context of showing off a beautiful lake its not the best, and I hadn't seen your other post so I wasn't aware that it was intended for something else.  Your alaska series is great, but with an aircraft in the shot (if the artist so choses to include one) when showing scenery the airplane shouldnt block of the true subject!  It would be like taking a picture of your motherboard with the side of the case still on the computer.

Please don't feel that I am being a know it all or anything, I'm just trying to give advice to murjax on how to improve.  I won't be able to make him a perfect screenartist, but at least I can try to help.

Alright enough is enough. Jake wanted to help me and he is. I like help. I posted the screenshot in the first place because people wanted to see what the area looked like. That's what this thread is about. Thanks for the help Jake but lets not make this whole thread about making screenshots better. Time to actually discuss what we were discussing in the first thread.  :)
