Looks nice, thinking about getting it myself.

Hows the performance?

It's out at last, is it? Any good? Pictures very nice, rather Half Lifey but the game has more freedom of action, right? Sky looks amazingly skyish

It runs perfectly on my X850XTPE, your 8800GTS should be abled to run it close to maxed out, though, it WILL struggle on higher settings indoors as a 8800GTX got 14fps completely maxed out. I say go for it!

It's out at last, is it?

Yep, after FOUR years of delays.  ::)

Any good?

Yeah, it's really fun to play and pretty lengthy, I've played 15 hours since I got it, which is enough time to complete F.E.A.R TWICE! I have a few missions to do after that, then I may join a group of STALKERS.

Pictures very nice, rather Half Lifey but the game has more freedom of action, right?

Yeah.

Sky looks amazingly skyish

Ahhh I love HDR.

Can you fly planes in the game????

Nah :( But you can shoot down Hinds, and I heard you could drive a BTR-90.

nice shots, and it is awesomly fun. however, the ending is kinda poop.

your in the power plant. something happens then u get knocked out and roll on the credits.

my mate has finished it and was realy disapointed, luckily im about an hour behind him on the gameplay so i avoided takeing that path at the moment :D

...ah, I am right at where the first screenshot is.

The game runs flawlessly on my system (...and I got everything maxed out except for the filters, which I set half way...)

Later in the game when you go indoors, your X850XT (I think you have that), WILL lag allot unless you put it into DX8 mode. To get around this, turn the two lighting sliders as low as possible.  ;) ;)

Thanks for comments everyone!  ;)
