Glacier Bay

Postby TSC. » Sun Mar 11, 2007 11:35 am

Hi all,

Just a quick tour around the new Glacier Bay freeware scenery released by Holger Sandmann & his team. Available at the 'V'.

Glacier Bay covers 36,000 square miles from Juneau up to Yakutat. It includes new mesh & a lot more scenery to flesh out the area. It also includes a fair few preset flights :)

Just leaving Wood Lake Research Station, just west of Juneau:

Downwind, with 'Wood Lake' below me. The short straight strip is the taxiway, the slightly longer strip is the runway:

Heading towards Juneau Intl:

Juneau Intl. looking a lot better than the default affair:

Heading 2 mins south, we come across Junea:

Hope you enjoyed the shots, as I mentioned, Glacier Bay covers 36,000 square miles, so these shots are really just the tip of the iceberg.

Cheers,

TSC.
