That would look even more realistic with a heathaze limiting visibility (around 20 miles or so), that way , the horizon wouldn't look so false.

Its FS9 with Real Environment Pro set with Light Water (so much for that).

I could try to limit the visiblity next time.

Thanks for all of the comments. I finally feel good about one of my shots

Excellent shot, could use the elimination of that stripey water though.

Excellent shot, but as Boca said, it could use some haze to limit the visibilty - other than that, it's cool.

What program are you using to re-size your shots? I use irfanview & have never had a problem saving a 800x640 under 100kb. Have a look at it here - I really think that having your shots up at 800 wide would really improve them.

Cheers,

Umm.....hmmm... about that.... It wouldnt let me keep it at 800 pixels and under 10200 Bytes. I tried, but when I finally got it compressed enough at 800 it looked like crap, so I just took it down to 600

Just before you save a shot in Irfanview, check the slider I've highlighted here:
Image

Try experimenting with that before you save the shot, each shot will require a different setting, but with a little practice you can get shots to just about any size in KB you require. Save the shot, check it's size in it's saved file - if it's not right, re-adjust the slider & overwrite the saved
