I'm rather encouraged, because I have the 'next up' processor to you. I was a bit fearful that I wouldn't be able to run FSX with my Athlon64 3500+  ( which I'm planning to upgrade anyway ), but if I get anything looking like these, I'll be a happy chappy.  8-).   Mind you , I've only got a XFX 7600GT, so that'll need to get bumped up.

damn you and your good shots   ;)

looks like you have your sim set up very nicely.  your use of scenery is suberb...your shots would definitely not work without it.  i love the last one.

Cheers guys :)
Yeah ati and amd are a perfect match.
http://ati.amd.com/

nvidia.......cough......cough :P

Had nvidia cards ever since I owned a pc until I tried ati because of the lower price and basically alot better performance and what difference it made. Nvidia just chuck out any old crap now, with far too much to choose from and bloody expensive.

I changed from an AMD/ATI setup to Intel/Nvidia, because they've got the best stuff out on the market at the best prices.

Plus, I hate it when a company sells out to a bigger one (*Cough* ATI -> AMD *Cough*).

What kind of frames are you getting? My 7950 is at 630 mhz core and 1.6 ghz memory speed. Although in the city at least I don't get above 18-24 fps :( Awesome shots BTW 8-)

GeForce 8800 GTS core running at 500MHz
My x1950 ( agp  ;))   core running at 580 MHz  ;D ;D
GeForce 8800 GTS  GDDR3 Memory Clock Speed running at 1.6 MHz
My x1950 ( agp  ;))  GDDR3 Memory Clock Speed:  1.4 MHz
tut... tut.... nvidia selling new old crap again.

Core speed my butt.

Dx-10 ready, 640Mb Ram...how does that sound to you, Mr. Know-it-all?

Lets be honest the 8800gts is such a poor card, people purchased it because of DX10.
