Can you throw a Javelin over a mountain ?

..you can if it's a Gloster Javelin and you're at the stick.  ;) Here it is, soaring over Spain's highest mountain. Mount Tiede in Tenerife.  (I've been there, it's lovely. )
Coming in from Gran Canaria.

It'll give you the entire Canary Islands in photoreal scenery so good, you'll wonder why it's not payware.  :D

As for the plane I got it from a coverdisk of freeware planes on PC Pilot magazine (UK),, but I believe it's available here  http://www.fs2000.org/last/display_search.asp  (beware, this page takes decades to load  :-[ ) Lots of other good stuff there too. Worth a look, even without the Javelin.
