Scaring the tourists

Postby jankees » Fri Feb 09, 2007 4:29 pm

After finding a small film on the exploits of the French airforce on youtube (look under Mirage), I could not resist grabbing one of their mean machines, and have a little fun scaring the tourists....

You will have recognised Kirk Olsson's brilliant Mirage F1, and in the background you see the Mont St Michel by Pascal Dumat (http://perso.orange.fr/p.dumat/)

I hope enjoy the pics, it certainly was fun flying!

Great scenery Le Mont Saint Michel!
Too bad I can't read French and I can't locate it following the link you gave.
Can you post the exact page from which the scenery can be downloaded?

That I can: http://perso.orange.fr/p.dumat/htm/smichel2.htm
and there is a patch as well: http://perso.orange.fr/p.dumat/htm/smpatch.htm

they have more excellent sceneries of that region here: http://perso.orange.fr/p.dumat/htm/scenes.htm, I like Quiberon and Belle Ile, nice little airfields on the Brittany coast, with some AI as well.
These are all for FS9, for FSX go to: http://perso.orange.fr/p.dumat/htm/fs10.htm

I hope this helps?

Yes, it is dirt, or low tide as was pointed out. If you come back six hours later, it's all water!

The F1 is a great plane and the pics are excellent. :)

Now you have to go James-Bond-Octopussy-style on your side through the upper gap quarter way up the tower.  8-)
