There is no such limit. Limits are in size and width. If my native resolution is 1280x1024, which makes for a resized 800x640, I certainly can't be expected to crop 40 pixels out of my snapshot.

atually the rain standing still like that coming straight down looks like its been slewed, instead of streaking back, which would actually make this shot a 100times better

Resizing with some programs such as Paint Shop Pro can cause jaggies even if the original image is smooth as silk.

Really? How is it then that to me happens the other way around? :-?

Even bringing my AA up to 8X, I've still some jaggies, then I resize it with PSP and... *puff* ...smooth as silk.
