Nice shots, I've always wanted to do those carrier landings/takeoffs.

Compression didn't kill them... Compression slaughtered them  :'(... Then again, I could have probably moved the slider in Irfanview past 80  :P Didn't want them too big though

You know what I did.. My monitor is set to 1024x768 so you'll have to do your own calculations if you're monitor's different,,,, but I opened the image in paint and "stretched-skewed" the image from 100 % by 100 % to 78% by 78%.

It kinda worked for me. Just a thought for something for you to try.  ;)

Try less shots and more quality the next time.  Try to get 5 shots at as close to 100kb each as you can. Mobing the slider past 80% really helps! I usually only go for the 85-95% quality depending on the type of shot. I'd really like to see shot 5 at close to 100kb instead of 51

Looks like FSX to me. Personally, I don't like the water. I don't think it's a patch on the water in the IL2 Sturmovik / Lock On games.   It looks too 'pristine' to me. Real water isn't always like that. Just look at , say the Thames Estuary or the Hudson river in New York. Muddy, murky,,etc.

I believe that Water came with "Real Environment Pro". Not sure if it's here on the V, but I know AVSIM has it. =P

Nope... 100% FS9. I have a great dislike for FSX  ;)... As for the water, it was that, or the much brighter textures that REPro includes. I prefer the darker water  :)

For first shots, those are incredible!  Too bad about the compression :-[.  Good job, though 8-).
