Olympic Washing!

Postby vololiberista » Fri Jan 19, 2007 1:58 pm

Olympic!! Because of the Stadium below. Washing! as "Hang out all the washing!"  is to select full flaps!
This is the VC10 free update available at
http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/default.htm
The engine sounds are superb and finally there is the facility to navigate with INS.
As always compression has killed the perspective
PS The airport in the distance is???????

Mille grazie for the heads-up.

Sadly, no VC model for the VC-10, but a new addition to the 1-11 fleet. Yay!

Here's a nice addition to the update
Parking brake on
engines off
doors open
and steps magically appear to let the terrified passengers off!

Didn't they do that all the time LOL!
If you're thinking of the Rubicon that is further south and flows into the Adriatic
Torino itself was a large Roman town as are many Italian towns!!
Many towns including mine have kept the original Roman street plan superimposed with medieval structures.
My town is unusual in that the Decumanus Maximus is not north south orientated, due to the town being built on an escarpment at the confluence of 2 rivers.
PS Name 3 Italian cities which have kept their original Roman name!!

Torino (Turin) comes from the Roman Taurinorum

Augusta Taurinorum, to be precise.  :D

Aaahhhh the days when cockpits were cockpits and pilots had to use Mk.1 brains instead of computers.
You need a mk.1 brain to understand  the INS!!!
