Painfully it became clear to me that I have months of tweeking and installing to do before I can even think of having my good old quality again...  :'(

It stopped spinning... as in, hey dude, I'm not in a working mood anymore!  ;D

I had to replace it, but I lost everything. Ironically I was in the middle of backing the data up...  ::)

Damn, Kris, that looks almost as sh*tty as my shots... :D

I feel your pain... my main HDD went kerfloopf recently, and although I was able to revive it as a slave drive (go figure), I had to reinstall FS9 and it just is not running as well as it should, even in a mostly-default configuration.
I'm not going to mess with it much until I get the new rig up and running... been flying a lot of IFR approaches in 1 mile vis at night... ::)

There is compression residue around the plane where there wasn't any before... driver issues I suppose...
