I can't help but really wonder if that incredible water has the same drag-down effect on the fps and fluidity the water of FSX has, and if not WHY FSX's water is that heavy on framerates then. ::)


It's not just the water that costs performance.

The atmosphere in Silent Hunter is amazing, but I have some trouble with it due to my not so up to date computer... And plotting a solution isn't that simple either...  :)

The water isn't taxing at all...I think the designers made it as a 3d mesh, instead of using particles...

...heh, the black border is the "Event Camera"...and was pre-done by the game...so of course it looks professional :P

Cool shots, missed them somehow until Omags shots.

I have Silent Hunter 1 & 2, but these graphics look incredible.
