Glass-nosed beauty...

Postby Lazerbeak » Fri Jan 12, 2007 12:32 am

I decided to take the ever-lovely Tupolev Tu-134A-3 by SCS up for a quick spin, wearing this cracking new repaint I found on avsim.ru, and I thought it'd be nice to share some screens. I don't normally fly airliners, but I can't help but love the Tu-134. Enjoy:

Sitting on the tarmac at Surgut whilst the crew finishes up the start-up procedures.

Taxiing past a nicely-dressed Kolavia Tu-154M.

The engines emit a powerful scream as I take off from USRR.

Climbing out of some very foggy skies.

Finally, here's a closeup shot that I thought looked neat.

Comments very much appreciated.

I'm using the good old Recorder module to get the really interesting angles, though I don't know if it'll work in FSX.

Cheers for the sig compliment as well. :)

Lovely snaps. I posted some photos of a Malev one on airliners sometime back. Strange but rather distinctive plane 8-)

Stay tuned, I might have something for you.

As for the shots:
Amazing! The sky colors really emit the "cold evening in Russia" feeling and number three is the best shot I've seen in a while. Well done!

P.S: Is there a 134B (solid nose) with VC out there?

No... but there will be one as payware (using almost the same panel as the current freeware one)
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

Hey
With regards to the Recorder module for FSX, there is a beta for FSX out now, it works fine (using it on my fsx).
Really good  :)
I love your shots by the way, great mood there.
