As far as I know this beautiful birds were the only one carrying salt to Berlin during the soviet blocade.
They were made of aluminium and didn't corrode therefore. They landed on lakes / rivers in Berlin.

Looks really nice, but don't you just hate how the props don't spin when you're replaying a flight with Recorder .

They are spinning. But not very fast. When I recorded the first Sunderland I was descending and therefore reduced speed. No throttle: slow movement, full throttle: fast movement.

Not a big problem with that model.
