Checking out the new stuff...

Postby Souichiro » Wed Dec 20, 2006 1:38 pm

Hey all!

A while ago I read a story about the FGR Phantom in British service... I think it was either in the Flypast magazine.... But am not sure. One piece especially caught my attention and that is also the setting this shot is based upon. Allthough I didn't really got the setting completely right. Maybe someone else wants to do that?

The piece roughly went like this.

" Of course the other pilots were curious about the new kit. I remember once on a OCU flight, A lightning popped up besides me. We didn't have the faintest idea on what frequence the other pilot was but after a few appropiate hand signals we both slammed on the afterburner. Now of course it didn't take long before the lightning dissapeared in the horizon but I found comfort in the fact that by the time he had to land I could still go on for 45 minutes."

As I said... not situated perfectly, maybe someone else could?
