) FSX is fun, but its not practical. The performance hit is too great for any serious flying, and for serious flying I'm sticking with FS9. But for things like Helis or Gliding, FSX is the only way to go 8-)These are in NO order, sorry
One good thing about FSX is it supports widescreen, which is great for my new monitor...CRJ Cockpit is pretty nice

From the good to the bad, a shot of why I don't like FSX. I was getting MAYBE 15FPS in this shot, and although it was smooth, its no where near the 'excitement' I get in FS9 with traffic out the wazoo

From the bad back to the good, why I like FSX - stunning graphics. This is from the mission 'Sitka Approach'

Elephant!

And finally, does anyone else recognize the paint schemes on these planes? I see 'American Pacific', 'Pacifica', 'Landmark', 'Orbit', and 'World Travel'. This is Mojave BTW on the mission where you have to test fly a 747

Hope you enjoyed these more than I did taking them
Dont expect to see TOO much FSX from me, Im still a diehard FS9 fan

) FSX will remain for years still an unpractical simulator. A botched attempt. A something only those with a LARGE bank account and GREAT willingness to spend and wait for still un-thought better hardware to came... maybe... one day... while they wait with a sim that is largely deficient. Out with the old, in with the new. That mission was one of my favorites so far.
