The only one good thing of FSX, actually. ::)

After all, even it has to have a good thing, compared to its ancestor.

The water in pic 1 approaches photoreal. Major improvement, there must be something else that is visually superior to FS9...maybe it's hiding in a cave or atop a mountain somewhere....Speaking of mountains, how do they look?

Great shots, the water is great but if i have good settings so that it looks good all of the time my frames plummet like a stone.......so i get into position for a screenshot and crank all the settings up!!
Nice shots eno  8-)

Yep, the new visual effects are really ressource-heavy.
Water like that produce a 3 FPS drop, at minimum.
And light bloom produce a drop of 5 FPS minimum  :o
No light light bloom and water High 1x, I'll be happy with that for the moment :P

Yup, that water is definately beautiful and you've captured it well ;).  Can't wait till I get a new rig and can buy FSX :D.

Very nice, I like the first shot.  It reminds me of when I tried FSX at AirVenture for the very first time, and flew the "Sitka Approach" mission. :)

There's nothing wrong with the helicopter being so low; another couple of seconds and eno would have had photographed the divers going for a swim... it's a shipwreck survivors' search and rescue mission.  ;)
