I can't remember where I found the link to this site VIRTUAL SAILOR. I haven't tried the MS Ship sim but I would imagine this is similar.

Rather nice water and loads to play with although the models aren't fantastic. These shots are from the Demo .... I may just purchase it.

Don't be fooled. It only looks like Microsoft's work because of the fancy packaging. It really isn't.
