i do like them indeed.  the clouds are really nice, and the a/c very crisp.  the only thing i dont like are the ground textures...i dont think they work with shots so close to the ground.  i have, and i think most people have the same problem imo.

Agree ... I can't get my groundtextures to look nice when I'm close to the ground ... but a couple of hundred feet up and oh man, they sure are nice (GE Pro ;))

But great shots once again Mike! I like them especially those hazy clouds near the ground. Nice lighting too; it almost looks like your 'camera' has some sort of filter on the lens that makes the shots a little more 'authentic'.

Which clouds package is that with which settings? They're gorgeous!

I like doing what I call portrait shots of planes and one of the hardest things with screenshots is trying to get ground textures to be clear and sharp when you are close to the plane at VFR levels.

So I'm glad that you like them.

OFF (Over Flanders Fields) is an add-on for Cfs3 and the clouds are all stock Cfs3.

I tried using some 3rd party clouds for Cfs3 but tthey didn't work for either increasing FPS or for their look.

There are other tweaks involved that allow me to get good (for Cfs3) sight distances and clarity.

Like expanding the circle draw distance in the sim.

I take it that's one of the options in cfs3 config, and explains the delicious detail you have extending off to the horizon in your ground textures.

My MX400 would not manage too well if I tried the same  ::)

Great shots as ever Michael, can't wait to see what you do with MAW  ;)

Yes in the config and in using WM scenery one without the other would be useless.

But there are also changes that have to be made in the terradata.zip file.

Oh and Harold you also have to know how to set-up a video card and the .cfg settings and everything else.

but you already know that and that's why you're helping out someone in another post.

and of course taking full responsibility to fix anything that might go wrong no matter what the cost or even if the user crashes due to some misunderstanding or maybe even a typo of yours.

Im sure that you have taken everything into account probably even checked to see that they weren't using the family machine or something like that.

Harold do you have FSX installed even ??????
