Postby Helms » Wed Nov 22, 2006 12:01 am

Well, i thought i would go skydiving today at Lake Tahoe.

Arrival at the airport, walk to DC-3

Soon after, me and other skydivers wait as we taxi to the runway

I'm glad i got the window seat ;)

Wow now thats something different!  :D Nice shots!

I have got a tip. Don't say anything like "ignore spot!!!" It only draws attention to the fact that it is there.  ;D Apart from that I can't possibly offer tips on improving these shots.

That's the Skydiver set made by Captain Slug for FS98.
On FS9, I could not make it work, the parachute would never deploy :/

Captainslug made the most badass planes for FS98.

I love the wing views in the screenshots BTW.

Talking about Captain slug, the motorless paraglider he made still flies great in FS9, and is very pleasant to use.
You just have to maintain the joystick full back, and after a short ressource, the paraglider will just start gliding at normal angle and speed. Use the rudder for turns, and enjoy the thermals :)

But I say again, I could never get the parachute to open on this particular Skydiver model in FS9, unfortunately  :-[

There was a free-faller made for FS9 last year. I'll try and find it....
