I'm sorry to say that I agree with the majority here:

Vice City is one of the best games ever, and not because it promotes violence.  In fact, its the exact opposite.  I can go home and pretend the guy walking down the street in the green t-shirt and brown hat is my coworker whose been bothering me all day and BEAT HIM TO DEATH WITH A BASEBALL BAT!  After a few tries at that, I no longer want to kill.  Good stress relief.

Never happened here where I live, AFAIK.

Bored dickheads, some years ago, relieved their days full of weed and other psychotropic substances dropping stones from bridges on the cars traveling on the underlying highways. But that was never a videogame subject.
